Default Exactly what I was looking for !

Hello,

Great work ! I was just looking for something like this.
Would you ship a couple of boards to France ? I have a Fed Ex account so it will be easy you won't have to bother with knowing shipping cost.

Let me know.

Best regards.

Pierre-Henri

Default Is PCB still available

Hello,

I am new to diyAudio. I have a DCX2496 and thought forum mebers might like to know of some alternative solutions.

The Roland M-1000 digital mixer manipulates volume in the digital domain, and can be inserted prior to the DCX-1000 (SPDIF to AES/BEU conversion is needed).

The OPPO DV-981HD DVD player can control volume on it's SPDIF output (when it is set to PCM).

The Slim Devices Squeezebox is a LAN media player that controls the volume of it's SPDIF output.

If you are interested in a method to remotely control all the levels and see the indication, you may be interested in my project

Follow-up: Finally Ward and I got most of the parts and PCB's for the DCX2496 Active Level Remote Control kit together. Ward will be able to start shipping kits as of 15 September or so.

I have put up the info on how to order the kit on my web site.

Thanks again for all of you who expressed interest and for prodding me on.
