Wanted: 250 watt Subwoofer Amp

I need a 250 watt subwoofer amp to replace my broken JBL E250P amp. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, that would also be appreciated.

How could anyone give you an idea how to fix it when you fail to state what is wrong with it?

Well wasnt sure if anyone else had one and their amp was borken too. It shorts out as soon as you turn it on and the fuse breaks. You hear a 50hz tone come from the woofer and then it blows.

My buddy has the EXACT same problem with his. Unfortunately, we have been unable to figure it out thus far. He was going to take it down for a free estimate at a repair shop. That may give more insight.

Im pretty sure its just a short somewhere on it. I told a local repair shop about it and they said itd probably be lioke $100 to fix but i may just fix it myself for less than that. Please keep me posted on what happens with your friends.
