Default FS: R-core transformers, audio caps, diodes, DVD player, etc

I have a bunch of stuff sitting around the I'm sure could do someone some good. Here it all is:

Qty 24, BYV52-200 (30 A 200V) Ultra-Fast recovery doides. Do a search on Mouser, they're 2.41 each. $1.50 each (minimum 4), or $30 for the whole bunch.

Qty 1, R-core transformer with dual independant 12V secondaries, 50VA each secondary, 120V primary. $25.

Qty 1, R-core transformer with dual independant 30V secondaries, 50VA each secondary, 120V primary. $25.

Qty 2, Renco split-bobbin 20VCT, 24VA PCB mount transformers (independant secondaries at 10V.) $6 each.

Qty 4, 10,000uF 50WV Nichicon CEW capacitors with solder tabs. $15 for all four.

Qty 12, 10,000uF 16V TSHA Panasonic capacitors, snap-in. $24 for all 12, or $2.50 each (min 4.)

I also have a Sherwood Newcastle V-756 DVD player with built-in 6.1 channel decoders, titanium finish, orignially retailed for $800, available for $140 (price reduced.)

Make an offer, especially if you are looking at more than one item. Thanks!

Paul

How good is the decoder on the DVD player?

Would it need a preamp after it if I wanted to use it with a chip amp?

Thanks

The decoder for 2-channel is (I believe) the PCM-1704, a Burr-Brown 24-bit DAC. It doesn't say in the owner's manual, but if you are interested I'll pull the case off and check the PCB. The unit has a digital input, so it can do the decoding work for a CD changer or other digital source.

For audio it has 2-channel and Circle Surround. For Video it has DTS, DTS-ES, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital EX. It also says it will do MPEG Multichannel, but I've never heard of that so maybe it was "up and coming" 4 years ago and never caught on.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Paul

Default update

An update on what is left, a price reduction, and a correction on the secondary voltage of one of the R-core transformers.
