Hi,
So I purchased the Buffalo III-SE kit a few years ago and used it on and off with Amanero as a source. Last year, I changed the source to Beagle Bone Black with Cronus reclocker/Hermes isolator. The system is built in a Hi-fi 2000 chassis. I've been able to get MPD and ESS9018 control working but haven't gotten Tidal streaming working yet on it. I don't really have time to fiddle with it anymore and hoped someone else would be interested. All of the hardware work is complete. The hardware build is complete and includes:
Buffalo III SE DAC
IVY-III
Placid HD Bipolar power supply
Placid HD single power supply
Beagle Bone Black
15V Transformer
9V Transformer
5V Power Supply (external)
Hifi2000 Chassis
RCA/XLR output
Ethernet Input Jack
Jack that supports coax in if you want to add it
It is wired and sounds great. Its just been mostly sitting too long and I'd rather put funds toward my preferred DIY speaker design hobby. If you inventory the parts, I have >$1k invested. I'd take $600 OBO and you don't even have to heat up a soldering iron🙂 Most of these parts will work with the newest Buffalo DACs if you were planning your own build. Please take a look at photos and let me know if you have any questions. I'm near Denver if anyone is seeking local audition. Thanks,
Joel

So I took some time and installed Botic 5 from bbb.ieero.com and it now streams via UPNP wonderfully. I have no problem playing files through Bubble UPNP and Audirvana! Please let me know if you have any questions. This thing is working great and is a fully featured streaming DAC with very high quality clocks.
