Back in the hobby after a few years hiatus. Simplifying from a 3.0, active crossover system.

I have two items I'd like to trade towards, or for a DAC on the level of a Schiit Bifrost, or Emotiva DC-1 as regards sound quality.
Need SPDIF input. Worthy DIY project would be gladly considered.

Both items were cobbled together a bit piece meal as projects to be "prettied up" later if they were keepers, but they worked so well and appearance was not an issue, so I just used them.

First is a chip amp built from a Hifimediy AMT2050 V2 series board. Input caps and volume pot upgraded. Includes 24VDC switching power supply.
Sounds amazingly good if you don't expect too much (power) from it. Used it for the tweeters and it did very nicely.
Trade value, approx $40.

Then the crossover from my old system. Built around 4 Marchand Electronics XM-1 boards for low pass/mid band pass/high pass configuration.
Crossover freq modules included (in pairs, by Hz) are: 5K, 4K, 3.1K, 900, 600, 310. Also included is the regulated -15/0/+15 power supply I used with the crossover. Trade value, approx $120.

There you have it, fellas. Good health and good times to all.
