I have two Sonus Faber Gravis passive subwoofers that I would like to sell.
These are the first series, the passive one without crossover and without power amp. Therefore, you will need an external x-over and a power amp for using them. The Gravis sub was meant to complement the Minima, Parva, etc. speakers. I bought them at the beginning of the 90's and they have been very carefully used and well cared for. I listen most of the time to classical music and I don't like disco/dance music, so you can rest assured that they haven't been abused! They are in excellent condition, with just a few marks (not scratches!) on the top veneer. I haven't opened them up (although it's possible, there's a huge number of screw on the bottom plate), so I can't tell which driver they use and the status of it. The only thing I can tell is that they worked perfectly fine up until a couple of weeks ago. They are really big and HEAVY, so I won't be able to ship them (besides, I don't have the packaging materials any longer). I can deliver (free of charge in Italy, reimbursement of highway and/or tunnel costs in Europe) within a radius of 300 Km from Turin (Italy) or we can make arrangements for meeting half way at some place convenient for you. I had them up for sale on Ebay, but the reserve price wasn't met. I have dropped the price a little and I'm going to relist them in a week or so, should I fail to find a buyer here. I'm asking 300 Euros each, but you can have them both for 500 Euros. |
