I checked the eagle files. The files as posted need
major cleanup/corrections.
I did fix some of the issues in my local copy, but
you (Holmes81) probably did all that already.

i will then try to load my hex file with the PicKit 2 thought ICSP Connection , it say error : "Programming failed at program memory address 0x000000".

Can someone help me ?

Here is the updated Schematic in eagle format, I've not checked it yet so may have missed bits.

I did a quick check and fixed missing IDE15 net, and also some fixed
ERC warnings. I am not too familiar with Eagle, so I lost some
of the nice LCD bus signal names you had.

Hi I just found this thread, and I read it with some interest as I have quite a few CD ROM's laying around.
I remember reading a similar project in Silicon Chip magazine, don't know if anybody is interested? Silicon Chip Online - Playback Adaptor For CD-ROM Drives

nova_ck,

sounds like it might be an issue with code protection. If you have code protection on and try to verify it fails.

Have you programmed other hex files?

Also I've uploaded created another set of schematics, and separate PCBs due to using the free version of eagle cad. The idea behind separate schematics and pcbs is that you could leave out various parts, eg the IR part or mount the switch part futerher away etc.

As before they need to be verified by someone who has not spent ages looking at them!
