FS, Best Offer: Vintage Sony Radio Upgrade with Raspberry Pi, DAC, and New Speaker
Hi everyone. I'm selling a classic Sony table radio, completely upgraded with a Raspberry Pi, I2S DAC, TPA3110 amplifier and ProFaital 60w full range driver. Comes pre-loaded with Volumio music server. This allows you to control the radio with your smartphone or computer (as long as both the radio and the phone/computer are connected to the same wifi network). It sounds really really great, and its a heckuva lot of fun controlling it with your phone. It is an old radio, so there is a bit of pealing in the corners, but the rest of the radio is in great shape. It's a real conversation starter!
I'm open to all reasonable offers, send me a PM.
I'm happy to answer any questions here, and entertain all reasonable offers through PM.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hey Bobby, sorry I didn't see your reply until just now. The volume pot has a built in switch, so just turn it all the way to the left to power it off. This one has sold, but I have another one just like it that's in much better condition if you're interested.Very cool. How do you power it off and on?
