TPA3255

Hi Doc;
I have been monitoring the exchanges regarding this chip
I have been deliberating the EVM from Mouser over this last week
What Power Supply have you found to be the best match with the 3255?
I may forgo the EVM and ask Santa to pm you for your payment details - instead of fannying about trying to put the EVM together with Inputs/Outputs etc, etc

I'm in the UK

Thanks

Owen

Cheers mate,

to be honest, i actually use the 3255 with a 200W boost-converter from a 12V SLA, as these are running on my bike PA. This works presumably well, even if you push them a bit. At home, i use them together with a 38V self resonant ZVS SPMS (300W max).

If you want to use them at home, a 48V Mean-well supply will do the job. (300W+) In the 300W class, there are fanless models available. If you use them with only 4R speakers, you may go down with the supply voltage. (36V still put out a good amount of "ompf")
