Free stuff for Burning Amp from NHT

I'm cleaning up our driver samples. If you want one of these woofers let me know and I'll put your name on it and bring it to Burning Amp. They may be a little dusty and have white dots on the cone where we measured them with Klippel. I will not ship these. Don't ask. If you are local (Benicia CA) you can come and get them, normal business hours. If no takers, into the dumpster they go!
First up, 12" woofers:
1. Massive thing with 3" VC and dual spiders, cast AL frame
2. AL cone, dual VC, cast frame
3. AL cone, stamped frame
4. Poly cone, stamped frame
5-7. Al cone, stamped frame used in SW12 ported SW
8-9. AL cone, stamped frame
10. Paper cone, stamped frame, used in B12d

I can add to this list! I took advantage of NHT's "come and get it" event a couple of years ago and I have some 10" and 12" drivers (pairs) that I thought I would use in projects but never ended up doing so. I would really love for them to get a new home.

I have attached a couple of pics that I took. From left to right is
  • 10" Alu cone woofer
  • 10" Poly cone subwoofer with bumped back plate
  • 12" Alu cone woofer with large diameter magnet.
  • NOT PICTURED 12" poly cone woofer pair
These are all NHT prototypes. I also took a pic from the side (of the first three) so you can get a sense of the magnet structure, frame, etc.

All of these are in good shape. The 10" Alu cone woofers have some small dents in the cone. I believe that these are a stamped frame version of these really nice low distortion 10" Alu cone drivers that NHT used in their XdW subwoofers, or that is what I recall Jack Hidley telling me. But since they are protos there may be some differences in the TS parameters.

I will bring these to Burning Amp only if someone wants them (cost = FREE). Please contact me via PM if that is you.

Charlie, I'd take those 10" AL cones and the 10" poly cones. But I don't want to be a woofer hog 😀

From past show experience I think that people will want all these drivers, so they would all go if you bring them! Just throw at least some extras in the car! Would certainly make the raffle more fun! I don't recall having a extra drivers at the end of a show except one year where NHT had cases of drivers! Even those all went at the end.
