SOLD OUT
A couple of years ago I bought three DCB1 – Black edition, complete kits from Tea-Bag.
I have still not found any use for these in my system so they are now looking for new owners.
Three identical complete kits are available. Except for a couple of resistors already soldered in everything is brand new and untouched. The Jfets* are not those present in the kit from Tea-Bag, but I guarantee that the provided 2SK170-BL are absolutely genuine Toshiba devices matched to high accuracy.
As the BOM of Tea-Bag’s kits have changed slightly over the years, I have below indicated exactly what is in the kits I have.
Cost:
80 euro/kit plus postage.
Postage:
International Priority mail: 7.30 euro Europe / 10.30 euro USA
or
Registered Mail (signed for): 10.60 euro Europe / 13.75 euro USA
I will cover the PayPal fees.

The HA caps might be Panasonic TS-HA caps, which I think were the predecessors of the TS-UP series.

Why do i always see the best bargains when i am short of cash 😱
Have a bump on me anyway and if you still have a kit left in a month or so i might have to buy one.

Hi Nic, I'll start with some silly questions...
Seeing that this unit does not come with a power supply I imagine I can use it here in Canada with our 120 volt household power, correct?

Next question, I shied away from this build due to my lack of component matching knowledge... Are there any components that need matching in the kit you are offering?
The power supply is on the board so you will just have to choose the right transformer for 120V.
I believe the LEDs have to be matched, but I'm not sure as I actually never build it ;-)
Probably a good idea to do some reading in the DCB1 thread. A lot of helpful people there🙂

I guess I should grab your last unit before it's gone... If it happens that I don't use It, I can always resell it later... PayPal okay with you?
PM me with details...

As far as I remember Teabag's kits came with matched LED's... since no one is buying 50 LED's and then start matching themselves.
Sorry it took so long. For some reason registered mail from the EU to Canada is particularly slow.... :-(
