They are a pair of DIY active speakers, around 7litre in volume (sealed) using Seas SEAS 27TBC/G tweeters and L15RLY Bass Drivers with the excellent miniDSP PWR-ICE125 units providing real time active DSP and amplifiers all in one plate amp.
They really are excellent, very easy to tweak on the fly (with Ethernet connectivity for the free software) and the design with the DSP make it really easy to integrate with a sub for a compact but powerful 2.1 system.

I just built a pair almost identical to these. The amount of bass from woofer is shocking for the size of the speaker. Instruments sound true to life and clear.
