No problem then. M3 straight flute has approx 2.5mm "nose" and of that you can grind away at least 1.5mm.

I haven't got a grinder

But, assuming your prices abover are the same for both types, I guess I will quite happily still take the ones I mentioned above, as even if I don't need them straight off, it will be nice to know I have them if I need them.

Edit:

I use a set thats ground and a set that not ground.

You also should keep in mind that you should not use the same set of taps for ferrous and non ferrous metals. That makes your taps last many times longer.

Well, I guess that would be good too

If you can do that then I guess you can change what I just sent you in the mail for one lot of ordinary types and one lot with a bit of their nose missing.

Probably, unless you made a mistake when you put M2 down, as the smalest size listed in the first post is 2.5
