I have a really nice pair of these drivers...sounds wonderful in an FH3 but I really want to move up in the FF line (already have the FF85WK's).

As for the "black" here is what I got for an answer from the previous owner:

I was told it was just a black marker like a "Sharpie". It does look natural & consistent in its application to the cone only. No "marker" added to any other part of speaker. If I did not know the driver then I would think that its was naturally flat black. So it actually adds no mass (aka enabling) so it would measure & sound exactly as the original.

Seems correct cause it doesn't sound like there are any anomalies...

Price is $120.00 plus actual shipping from Saskatoon SK Canada S7R1E6

Please contact me with any questions...I would consider trading for a pair of FF105WK's or FF125WK's...

Thanks!!

Good luck with the sale - FWIW, although you might find they'd need woofers, I'd suggest the 105s over the 125s -

Thanks!!!

I run a sub with the 85's now and even did so with these Sigma's...like I mentioned before...kinda magical in an FH3 but a different flavor to that of the FF85WK's...

Not to mention...my wife likes the 85's more...they're better for her country
