Default WTB: 2SD551 and 2SB681

I'm looking for 2 X 2SD551 and 2 X 2SB681.
Both should be original Toshiba, not necessarily matched pairs but preferably same production within the pair.
If someone has them or knows where to find them, please let me know.
Thanks

/Hugo

My favourite shop Reichelt has the 2SD551 but that won´t help too much as they don´t stock the 2SB681.
I also don´t know if they´re from Toshiba.

Must be quite special ones.
The 2SD551 costs 9.80€ and my semiconductor list won´t give me a substitute in TO-3 case.

Cheers
Jens

This is what my (not so favorite shop) sent me:
Two (possible) fake Thosiba's
Both 2SD551's are one MST (?) and one from I_wouldn't_know_what_company.
You can imagine that I won't risk my reputation in repairing an amp with this stuff.
I guess I'll replace them with good old MJ15024/25.

Thanks

I don´t mind using substitutes as well.
Of course you gotta test the amp if everything´s stable etc..

At the moment I´ve got a Harman Kardon PM650 on the bench.
One of the best amps I´ve listened to by the way.
My friend is quite excited as it was never defect and fears it´ll never sound the same.
I don´t think he´ll hear the substitutes!?
We´ll see/hear.

Cheers
Jens

I sincerely hope he doesn't (objectively or subjectively) hear any difference. Could turn out bad for you

The amp is an old AKAI PS-120M.
You won't find much info on the net but it's a quite heavy amp.
Big separated PSU, not too bad PCB's.
I'll report when it works again.

Fixed.
I used MJ15024/25 and it works well.
I must however say that I'm not impressed by the sound but I doubt it has something to do with the MJ's.
I am of course used to listen to AlephX's

Thanks again
