Default widerange solid dome tweeter handmade

Hi Guys,
I am developing this loudspeaker driver since 2010 and this pair is the first one of the first version.
It is intended to be used in short horn, waveguide or on a baffle. Here are some characteristics:
- 300Hz resonance
- upto 22kHz response
- 1% distortion
- diaphragm and coil former are one single element
- ultra low inductance due to over-saturated iron
- paper dome
- 50W RMS
- standart mounting holes
- absolutely no analog
More images can be found at AudioProject.BG/Images.
By buying this item you are helping this project to continue development - increase the sensitivity, reduce distortion, produce a default waveguide, produce a compression version and so on ...
WARRANTY: 2 years
If you buy this pair you are about to become my first client.
I will not only assist you with the installation of the speakers but I will send you new diaphragms in case you blow yours or in case i make a better version.

This is the frequency response. The driver itself have little problems (6db dip) around 16k which i personally can not notice. Without the waveguide its flat from 0.5 to 9kHz and the THD is less than 1% from 3k above. THD in the mids is 6% for one of the drivers and i think its around 2-3 for the other (not measured but hearable). I like to listen these drivers filtered from 700-800 hz with 2nd order and without the waveguide.
The waveguide and the diaphragm are easily removable.

Its made for 1" waveguides.

This is the impedance. Thats how a bad soldering looks like. Its repaired.

I think there is near no limit in the power handling and the limit is the xmax. its 1mm and when filtered around 800Hz it can be played loud enough for a 5x5m room.

These two are the last using this waveguide and this lacquer so in a month or two there will be new version and i will send you new diaphragms for free if you like.
