First Gen Hawthorne Audio Spud amp, single ended pentode. One gain stage so no coupling caps. Great sound that is just a little light on bass response, I recommend bi-amp or use in a system that does not have a lot of response below 45hz. The power transformer has unfinished end bells, the chassis is thick unfinished aluminum. I also recommend using with higher sensitivity speakers and a 2V source to get the max out of this amp.
