Looking at the datasheets, I wonder where the special audio properties comes from? I have a hunch that these resistors cost way much lower than 56 USD which Newark takes. Can the industrial price be 1-2 USD?

Audio grade, hm,,, they seem to be made for high precision industrial applications.

The average price for s102c/k is USD$8 if bought in quantity of 100pcs, direct from factory. the prices vary with values.

S102 is $11.5 from http://www.percyaudio.com/Catalog.pdf and then there is a price jump above 50k or so.

I bought from ARCHAICAUDIO before and those resistors are a real deal (especially at previous price of $2/pc)

Definitely neutral sounding, without harshness and glare presented by other brands (sometimes even too soft sounding).

Hi,

they seem to be made for high precision industrial applications.

They were used by NASA, labs, high precision instrumentation devices etc.

They also sound better than the average run of the mill metalfilm resistor and 15 years ago you'd pay well over 25 USD for a single one.

These are laser trimmed bulk foil resistors, they sound fine and are also available in so called "naked" form.

How about going back to the $2 price for a certain quantity?
I hate to think what that quantity would be though.
For me it's around 50 total. Or maybe a quantity price for over 10 say of one value. That compensates for the extra labor of lots of
different values


I also got an order at the previous price and they appear to be exactly as advertised.
