Default LN Adcom GFA-5802, trade or sell

History -

I came across a near mint condition Adcom GFA-5802 on Craigslist. Seller said "perfect", and the price was $450. I ran out there! He had it playing, and it sounded Great!
Get her home and find out that it has a hissing sound for the first 15 minutes after it's turned on, and he of course doesn't answer his phone - ever again.
So, after much searching on line, I find EBC Electronics in N.Y., and they have ALL of the parts and they specialize in Adcom repairs. The owner seems like he is thoroughly knowledgeable with all amplifiers, but is factory service level trained on Adcoms. Off to N.Y. it goes, and a few weeks later, I have it back and it is completely gone through with tons of NOS parts including new input boards, new outputs, etc. He spares no expense when he rebuilds these, and the cost is almost unbelievably good at $300. I highly recommend them!
So, I have $750 into a LN GFA-5802, that I don't need as while it was was gone, I bought a Krell Class A 300 watt/ch. MONSTER. The Adcom sounds good, but the Krell has the vise-like grip on my bass ribbons that they need to fully reach their potential. I have to biamp with any other amps I've tried to match that control of this rather esoteric load.

So, if someone wants a good solid Nelson Pass designed 300 watts per side amplifier, and has a tube preamp with phono stage to trade, I'd be interested in discussing. Otherwise, if you want to buy, and if you are in the lower 48 states, I'd eat the shipping and it's yours for $750.
I didn't take pictures of it, as whats to take pictures of - it looks new...?
I have 100% positive feedback on the big auction site, and if you email me, I'll forward that link to you. If no takers, then off to the BIG auction site this will go.
