Sorry! These are both SOLD!
I have two (2) of these very lightly used eXD USB receivers. They're asynchronous, work with standard USB drivers and frankly - sound fantastic. These eXD boards are the same ones used in the Sonore DAC.
As equipped each sells for $399 new. I'll sell each for $150, plus shipping and any paypal fees.
Cheers!

I believe so, but not using the usual 'kit' that's usually used. I believe the firmware is custom. Very nice, reliable boards.
I'm wondering if this will work well with Linux and my Buffalo II? How do you switch PCM and DSD for the BII using this USB --> I2S card? Do you have hookup diagram?
Thanks

Hi Do. Since it doesn't require any custom drivers, it should work well with Linux.
The website of the manufacturer has a lot of information about Linux use:

Re: PCM/DSD switching, the OTTO II has worked very well for this. Actually, one of the two eXD cards I have is programmed to output PCM/DSD over the same pinouts, so no switch is needed.

Is it the one that says DSD-ESS on it? what are the dimentions of the board?
Thanks
Do
Yup, that's it. The board is 100mm x 92mm.
Outch... that's big! I'll check if it can fit in the enclosure. My main use would be with Volumio which uses MPD. I want to be able to play DSD without using the OTTO module since I do not find this an elegant solution but I also want it to be compatible with MPD... I think they may be using DoP but don't know if they do straight DSD out as well since I believe it is what the card requires, correct?
Also, I wend on their site but it is a Blog and you can't find anything in there.
Thanks

Do you still have the manual for these? I would require voltage requirements and current draw to power the modules as well to know what the headers do, but power requirement is more important for now so I can power the board.
Thanks
