Wondering if anybody is intersted in buying this set of modified and upgraded Avondale NCC200 amp boards, Gyrator boards for front end supply and full set of Canterbury Windings transformers for a full dual mono amp.

The NCC200 boards have the following external but reversable modifications as listed on Acoustica and incorporated into the HackerNap re-design.:

  • CCS added to TR3 base pin
  • Output device decoupling capacitors
  • Seperate front end power supply (removal of two components from pcb)

The boards themselves have been populated with high end components such as:

  • Texas T2575 foil resistors in critical feedback and signal path
  • Dale RN60 resistors.
  • Mills output resistors
  • AVX FFB feedback capacitors
  • BUV20 metal can output devices.
  • Mil Spec Tants.

One board has a overheated 680R resistor and is therefor considered faulty but will be a very easy fix for someone.

The basic NCC200 sounds excellent but the modifications really improve it. The sale includes

2 x NCC200 boards plus heatsinks.
4 x Gyrator boards for front end.
4 x Canterbury Windings audio grade traffos as listed here for sale separately.

Offers around £200 if possible.

International shipping please enquire.
