Default APS UPC battery backup packs

2 x APS (can't remember if it is APS or ADS) *UPS battery backup packs. Each one consists of 8 12V/9AH SLA's wired in series/parrallel for 54.4V output. The units have a built in auto charger that charges the batteries when 10% less than full charge and then switch off again.

I used two to run UcD400s off of, but for ease and space, I am running them on AC now. They weight >50lbs each, so local pickup is best. $50/ea

I don't have a picture handy but these are rackmount size (audio component size) and about 3.5" tall or so. A friend of mine (now past, RIP) was the first to run UCD400 modules off these and took the chargers out and placed on switch, mounted the modules inside the packs and added connectors and binding posts to make them into amp cases. Pretty clever. I have pictures of his project, which show the cases after his mods.

To further whet the appetite of what can be done with these. Here are parts from my time when I ran UCD 400s off them.

I also have the following:
black par-metal chassis used in a couple of amp projects. Front panel drilled for meters below, but could order new one or make your own. Chassis $40 with the connectors that are currently installed and switch for front panel.

2 each 0-80V DC vintage meters. $40/ea

In regards to the original battery power packs, the supremely heavy part is the batteries. So if I were to ship, i could always remove the batteries and you source your own locally (like from a surplus center). The extremely useful tidbits are the charging circuits and the chassis.

some pictures of my units

as I mentioned above, they can be shipped sans batteries to make the weight more manageable. Also I have UCD400 units I could sell with.
