All input channels are working, all other functions are working. Only 2 of the 6 output channels are not working. The other 4 are working.
4 output channels have a opa1612 op amp in it. 2 channels are missing the op amps and some of the resistors. You can replace the opamps and resistor to get the channels function however you will have to find out the values of those missing components from the other 4 channels or get a circuit.

The Opa1612 are better op amps than the stock opamps, however it has a bit of noise in channel. One channel has more noise than the others. This could be due to the op amp gone bad in the process or the op amps are not a good match.

I don't have a box. The top screws on the panel to open it up are missing.

$75, OBO. plus shipping.

Behringer DCX2496 mods

Seems like a good candidate for the passive output modification.

Actually good for a lot of mods.
1. Transformers for in and out.
2. Change the ribbon cable to hard wire
3. Change the AK DAC to the 192 DAC - still 96k but better specs.
4. Change the input opamps.
5. If you have external buffers, try it directly to the A/D and D/A, removing input, output stages, relays, ribbon cables and connectors. This is only for the very experienced.
6. Change power supply. I would suggest lots of caps on the boards - filter and supply on each opamp, at the opamp location.
