Default FS: Sony TTS-3000 Transcription Turntable

I have owned this table for more than 25yrs. It is in excellent cosmetic (9.5 of 10) and operating condition. This was Sony's Top of the Line (TOTL) transcription turntable and was produced for commercial applications as well as audiophiles that demanded a high end turntable. The build quality of this table makes most of todays entry level audiophile tables look like a "child's toy".

This was Sony's entry into the high-end turntable market in the 1960's. It won HiFiSound's multi-table test against the Garrard 401, Thorens TD124, and Lenco G99 with a PUA-237 arm being the table with the lowest rumble figures and was listed as one of the Worlds ten best turntables. It has a DC servo motor with very slow rotation. The outside of the platter is an acrylic band which is the strobe and is not in the motor circuit.

I will include the user manual and service manual on CD. I know how to pack turntables correctly for shipping.

$550 OBO

I have one just like it. It's a very nice big, heavy table that has operated well for years. I just revamped my suspension system and belt and expect to use it the rest of my life.
