Default "Class-A" Ampfieirs on the market ?

Or to simplify, would someone if they can, share any "Class-A" amps on the market now ? my friend wants to buy a decent modern integrated amp.

Default Have you considered Sugden?

Greetings,

I hope all is well. I recall Sugden was one of the early adopters of the class A philosophy and although not all of their amps now adopt that bias setting, they still make a few: Sugden Audio: Masterclass

I haven't ever owned one (too much into DIY myself), however I knew a gentleman whose opinion I highly respect and he said having owned a ton of other amps always regretted selling his. They're not inexpensive, but of course that's generally true of the overall design for obvious reasons.

Good Luck!

Eric

Thankyou, I absolutely love the idea of the Sugden's ! The prices of the new amplifiers are not too bad, they have been making great amps for years.

Yes the Masterclass ones are exactly the type of thing we are looking for.

Post Monarchy SM-70 are absolutely wonderful

Monarchy Audio

Especially in bridged true-balanced monoblock mode. Really amazing amplifiers, from a very decent company run by a very decent fellow.

cheers,
