8 x 250 watts into 4 Ohms / or / 8 x 125 watts into 8 Ohms.

Brand new and unused, this kit includes:

4 x CDA-254 modules + the large 85 volt power supply + the very large Antek 5434 toroidal (as supplied by Class D Audio).

Each CDA-254 is rated at 250 watts x 2 into 4 Ohms or 125 watts x 2 into 8 Ohms, so 4 modules gives you 8 channels. The CDA-254 can be bridged for 500 watts into 8 Ohms, so you could do 6 x 125 watts into 8 Ohms and 1 x 500 watts into 8 Ohms... so various options in there.

Just a quick word about Class-D audio for those who haven't heard of them.
About a year ago, I went out on a limb and bought the CDA-254 with the big toroidal and PS and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the kits and their sound.
So for anyone out there contemplating to buy those, go ahead, it's a safe bet.
