I have 8 of these, 5 inch full range drivers, pleated paper surrounds and Alnico plug magnet; labelled 5 F 00 / 16 FOE; manufactured 1989
I thought they were 16 R and these are no good to me
I'll take the loss on these to get them out of the way before the missus finds out I spent $50-
$30- the lot plus postage
Will separate at $12 a pair plus postage

Were used by Australian Sound in a tall column speaker wired to 8R but I needed and wanted 16R drivers for this project

Here are the pix
Probably only useful on a rebuild project but these do the "Telephone band" quite well as would be expected for a small PA speaker

Thanx Don
I was under the impression 89 was manufacture date, when would you say these were made then??
These boxes were 8R because 2 of the drivers in each box were disconnected, which was not what I was expecting. What's a fair price then??
The boss found out I got then and I am in serious trouble with SWMBO
They actually sound OK not brilliant but OK; very efficient and a rising response with a peak somewhere around 3 or 4 k from listening to female voice for a half hour
