I've got a few used singles. Do you have any way of testing what you have so I can sort out a rough match?

Yes, I do have a Hickok 539B . The one I need a match for measures ~5400 transconductance on that meter. Minimum for 6Ca7 on this tester is 3800.
TIA , L

That looks like about 43 on a TV/7, but I know mine may be a few points out of whack, as I've recently started attempting to calibrate it but ran into a snag on setting the filament voltage. I think I have some in range. Maybe the first thing is to try for a current match. What are you using these in?

No prob. Are the output tubes connected in the stock configuration, with stock bias resistors or modded?

Stock , I put it in triode but was going to reverse to UL.
Maybe you've also got Russian GZ34 ?

Ok, mine's triode mode, but with individual bias adjustments and 10ohm resistors. Should be comparable with calculations. I only have a few spare GZ34's so I want to keep those on hand. I do have some good 7199s if you are in need of those but I'll want to get market value for them. You do know you're probably better off buying a matched pair of outputs right? But if you need to be frugal hopefully this can work out.

I know that I'm better off buying a pair but I have three reasonably matched ones and one below minimum and shorting under the voltage so need one just to sort out the amp. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. I took a quad of JJ kt77 of other amp and so far I'm less than thrilled . We'll see. Thank you that you're willing to bother with this
