For Sale - 6SN7 / 6SN7 Aikido Preamp board - fully populated and ready to be dropped into a preamp. This is not an All In One, so a suitable B+ and heater circuit is required. Preamp has four Tung Sol tubes with about 200 hours on them, and has Russian .22uf caps and Wima 10uf caps. They are currently wired in parallel as I like the sound together better than either apart, but jumper can be removed and you can switch between the two. Most of the resistors are Dale and high quality.

I had the setup B+ at around 275VDC and was very nice.

I will sell the populated PCB for $100, the four 6SN7 tubes for another $50. Shipping additional.

I can also throw in the B+ power supply circuit (point to point) which is four 1N4007 diode Full Bridge Rectifier, with a CLC filter (C=270uf 400V Rubicon, but don't remember the choke value).

I have been asked for a little justification of my price:

The current Glassware price for all in one is $59 + $40 (4 tubes) + $10 (all resistors) + $65 (Voltage parts including rectifier tube) + $15 (4 sockets) + $5 (wima caps - cheapest -they go all the way to over $17) + $7 (standoffs), which totals $201.

See info here:
Octal All-in-One LSA/HPA PCB

My price is $100 for populated boards (with expensive Russian TEFLON caps) only, and the $150 gets you populated boards, four VERY GOOD TUNG SOL tubes, and entire power supply - Caps/filter/SS rectifier and a PS Choke.

The four 6SN7 tubes are definitely a huge step up from what Glassware is offering, as Tubedepot sells the Tung Sol 6SN7 for $20 Each:

6SN7 Tube Types

And the two TEFLON Caps make a huge difference....if you add those components to their offering, you probably would be over $300 for the setup...

OK??
