i have gotten a few questions about selling the BII board individually. No, I do not want to sell it alone, as it would leave me with these extra parts that I have no use for. However, I would be willing to sell the other components without the IVY-III board for $300.

There's always a market for TP parts. For instance, I have a Buffalo, but need an Ivy III, Placid and Placid BP.

Is this with the last version of buffalo II? If I remember well there were two versions of buffalo II.

nope, first version, it has the 80MHz clock

Correct. It is the first version since it has an 80 MHz clock. IIRC the only change in the second version was a 100 MHz clock. The clock was upgraded to better support I2S signals with 352.8 kHz sample rates. This version plays sample rates up to 192 kHz fine. I haven't tested anything above that.

This is the best quality DIY stereo DAC on the market (next to the BIII line) I am only selling to upgrade to the BIII so I can setup a multichannel configuration.

Willing to sell the DAC, Volumite, SPDIF transformer and TOSLINK module for $280 without IVY III board. This is less than the price of the original Buffalo II DAC board and includes these $60 worth of extras. This is a great price for an excellent kit, just add your power supplies and you are singing.

Here is a photo of the kit for sale. Please forgive me for using a cheap radio shack board for the SPDIF transformer, its what I had on hand...
