Trade equipment for work needed...

Hi there...
I have too much gear, and need some work done on a vintage console I want to keep:

Want/need to recondition my Blaupunkt 40400 New Yorker; update caps, replace whatever needs to be... replace turntable (or arm if easier; I have a 2nd turntable), bring this unit up to top operable condition and make the unit sing... No cabinet repairs or reconditioning by you,

For your work - I will trade you the following: Pair of Peak/ Coral 8" HS-201 drivers (no cabs), pair of EMI Model 62, in 9/10 condition walnut cabs, and a pair of Ohm Model E, in 8/10 Walnut cabs... if this doesn't cover it, we'll work out additional $$...

Can reimburse cash for parts, or if you specify parts and places for me to order - will have shipped to you.

I'm in the Metro/NYC area, and will deliver the unit to you ( this unit weights about 200 lbs!).

No rush - you can have as long as you need, but would hope this wouldn't drag on past a couple of months.

I've been told that european units can be daunting, and it's been suggested that even though I am interested in diy, this ain't the cat to attempt as a 1st project.

Anybody interested?
