High end preamplifier from John Farlowe's Exposure Era. Excelent build quality, huge power transformer and great MM phono stage. True classic with fast , explosive and non offensive sound . All the components values are marked on PCB making servicing easy. $525

PS , I think it was $1500 unit originally, the price I ask is what I've paid a couple months ago. I just got a deal on XVII /Super XVIII pair so this needs a new home. It was checked out by EE engineer according to the seller (whatever it means:?) Non of my sales are final . You don't like it you return it for refund. It is good , solid ,classic Brit sound ,Flath earth with little warmth. Great with rock. It made $$$ Mcintosh pre sounding like a Poo..in comparison. For me SS preamp and Tube amp is a better combination than other way around. It's good to have a quality box around to check how those DIY machines really perform in comparison.
PS 2. MM phonostage in this unit is so nice that I preferred it to all j-fet Erno Bornely phono preamp. The setup was Rega P9 /Koetsu Black , Cinemag SUT, Exposure XVII/XVIII Super and proac Response 2 , Borbely J-fet was configured as an MC phono stage .
