Default Custom Corner Horns

I am moving shortly and my new listening room sadly does not have the layout for corner horn speakers; stupid windows... These are the best speakers I've ever owned, and one of the best I've ever heard, and I'm looking sell them and move to something smaller. If you've never heard all wood horns with no hint of congestion and ultimate clarity and detail, you're missing out on an incredible listening experience.

The guys from Soniphase (a local NW horn speaker building company) helped me piece together this awesome pair of Klipschorn style, 3-way corner horns speakers. The bass bins are cherry wood, patiented corner horns loaded with 15" woofers, and strong down to 35Hz. The mids are an Eminence compression driver loaded in a patiented Smith horn, with a custom Eminence tweeter mounted under the mid. The crossover is mounted in the mid/high unit, and all the horns are wood and built right here in the Pacific Northwest. These speakers are 105db sensitive and currently being driven by a 6wpc single ended EL84 amp for the mid/highs and a 440wpc solid state amp for the woofers.

I could provide transportation locally, and obviously no shipping.

$2500 will get you the whole 3-way set-up included an extra set of motorboards and a set of Vishay caps which can be swapped in the XOs to change the sound.

I would also be willing to sell the corner woofer cabinets with all extras (just not Smith horns) for $900.

Forgot that speakers also include these cherry wood high hats to give the speakers a VERY Klipschorn look.

zcables,

I was doing a search for Soniphase and found your thread here. What did you replace them with?

I do highly recommend Soniphase for horns as their wood work is fantastic, and you'll never want a plastic horn again after listening to wood ones.

After going through a few pairs of cone speakers, I ended up with a pair of Martin Logans that I'm really enjoying. They sound fast and dynamic, plus the dipole aspect creates a very large sound.
