I'm looking to buy a pair of 2.00 mF DCR < 0.35 Ohm inductors.

I'm not an engineer, but knowledgeable people - audiophile friends of my - insist that there are only two parameters for inductors - inductance and DC resistance. Everything else is pretty much the marketing hype and that Mundorf-Shmundorf types promote it and make a fortune of it. Who am I to argue with my irrelevant degree in Economics? I guess, air core or laminated iron core would be fine.

I would guess saturation characteristics are important too, but I'm not an engineer either and know little about speaker crossovers.

Yes, saturation can be an issue. But, again, quoting my engineer friends, saturation only becomes an issue when you send hundreds, even thousands of watts into the speaker. Which, really, never happens in ordinary home hi-fi environment. And I never feel that my 16 wpc tube amp lacks power.

Air-core has the lowest distortion but to get a 2mh .35 ohm air core will take a very large expensive coil. Big coils are also susceptable to stray magnetic fields from other inductors.
Solid core has the worst distortion - don't use it.
Laminate core is a good compromise, probably what you want.
Just go to Madisound Speaker Components: distributor of loudspeaker drivers and parts for speaker builders. and i'm sure you can find something close enough.

2mH isn't a big deal,

2.20 mH 14AWG Foil Coil 0.42 ohms - CC2200/14 [4140] - $59.00 : SpeakerBug, capacitors, inductors, resistors, crossover parts, speaker supplies

2.20mH 15AWG Cored Inductor 0.15Ω DCR 5010 Induction Coil 15 AWG 2.20mH Cored [6660] - $17.50 : SpeakerBug, capacitors, inductors, resistors, crossover parts, speaker supplies
20mH on the other hand is huge
