Default FS: Beringer DCX2496

Beringer DCX2496 Digital Crossover. Bought new, don't remember exactly when but date code starts with 06 so maybe 2006 or 2007. Unboxed, played with it for a couple weeks, went back to analog crossover. Includes XLR to RCA adapters and manuals, but no original box. Looks like $175 would be a good place to start...I have not hooked it up to be sure it still works yet but will prior to shipping and give you 10 days to decide if it works. One .5 inch scratch on top otherwise as new. Shipping at cost, your choice of method. Probably ~4 pounds ready to ship.

Default firm ware upgrade

There may be a problem with the firmware upgrade. It depends on what model you have. This is what I found at the Behringer web site. "Important notice: due to technical differences this firmware is not compatible with older models of the DCX2496. Before you attempt to upgrade - please call up "setup > miscellaneous" to check the version which is currently installed in your DCX2496. This file is only compatible with versions newer than V1.17"
I may buy your unit if it is upgradeable.
Thanks
PeterC.

It is version 1.16. Shipping to Toronto is roughly $31 priority USPS, $16 First Class.

Default BUMP

$160, then back in the closet.....
firmware is really not an issue, 1.17 update was just to work with new DSP and has no new features. There have been no firmware updates since 1.17 in 2008
