Hi Everyone,
UK sale and pick up only for obvious reasons!! ![]() My superbly built IPL S3TLM Ribbon transmission line speakers are up for sale. Something to do with not having room for a growing hoard of audio stuff!! ![]() Details of the build are HERE - CLICK ME Dave did an excellent job on the matched and mirrored American Black Walnut veneer. External crossovers mean thease can be tuned to your taste with different X-over values or by experimenting with the long-haired wool supplied. Cost a bomb to build. Kit = £301.50 Sundries = 14.50 Veneer = 131.24 plus some other bits and bobs like brass screws and x-over boxes. Total is £447.24 and that doesn't include the tens of hours of skilled labour that went into these speakers!! I think £350 is a reasonable price point as there is some minor spike damage on the speaker stands where they were replaced without a spotter being used (wasn't me!!). ![]() Please contact me by email or PM for more details. These will be available to demo and are collection only. I would deliver/meet halfway (from near Swindon) for fuel costs up to a radius of 50 miles. Photobucket Albums are HERE and HERE Thanks for looking! Jon

Those are gorgeous! Too bad you're on the wrong continent. GLWTS. Have you ever heard any of the old school IMF TLs? If yes, how do these compare?

Thanks very much. Yes, Dave slaved over these!!! I only did the crossovers...
![]() I've not heard any other TL speakers, but these ones have a huge presence. I wouldn't use them in a small room... or your loo!
