I hadn't realised that Amplimo were UK made.

Amplimo used to be ILP transformers.

Are Amplimo & ILP & Plitron connected?
Like one design house and many factories?

ILP used to do both production and the entire distribution, plus increasingly more sidelines (the ILP amp modules and such).
In the late '80s (~1988 ?) their operation became such a (financial) mess, that ILP Holland cut the strings and changed the name to Amplimo.

At the change to Amplimo, the transformers were ILP manufacture, with identical packaging, just a different brand sticker.
As can be noted from the ILP pdf i linked to, Amplimo type code till this day is the same as the ILP ones.
Amplimo still had the toroidals manufactured by ILP, in batches, but ILP no longer manufactured them on stock.

Menno van der Veen already had custom jobs by his hand/design manufactured by ILP in the mid '80s (output toroidals for his 40W and 100W ultra-linear valve power amp designs/kits).
He became the toroidal specialist for Amplimo, and later for Plitron.
So the three are in a way connected, but separate companies, of which Amplimo is by definition not a manufacturer.

Not so long ago, there was some sort of change in operation again at Amplimo, don't know the exact details.
Part of the visible stuff is e.g. that they no longer sell/list the ILP amp blocks.

(the Amplimo LRZ output relay e.g. is an in-house development, no connection to ILP)
