For a little bit of history, Aura (Czech Republic) were one of the early designers of the linear tracking arm and in fact they built the first of the linear trackers for ClearAudio. There is a similarity to the Souther in that there are no noisy pneumatics, something that lead me to preferring this design.
The arm is actually very easy to install, simply align the hole in the arm cover to the centre spindle and away you go. As with all linear tracking arms, it is important to ensure your deck is level to allow the pull of the groove to keep it tracking. It will take MC or MM cartridge and this too is easy to install. It’s a great piece of engineering and the sound from this arm is pretty amazing, something that Peter at Golden Age of Audio will attest to. All bearings are in fine shape. Now’s the chance to find out what Linear Tracking Arms are all about! ![]() Item: AURA / CLEAR AUDIO Linear Tracking Tone Arm Location: Melbourne Item Condition: Excellent Price: $600 Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Direct deposit, Paypal (+3%) Extra Info: Freight is extra.
