Default Output board bal-unbal for symmetric DAC chips

Hi I made several of these and used them with great pleasure on CS4397/98 DACs. They are better than the best opamp in terms of sound quality. They use Neutrik NTL-1 transformers that cost 55 Euro each. I want 80 Euro ex shipping for it.

Not cheap but you can't beat a transformer output stage. If the chips I use now would be able to drive transformers I would still use them. No solid state solution comes close !

Are there no CS4397/8 users out there that want to experience the best this chip can deliver ?

Hi. Do you think I can use this board with the new ESS ES9023 DAC chip?
You can find the general datasheet on the net.

I bought a few and I want to build a few low cost dac around this chip, voltage output thought, no current. The transfo may not be the best match.

Let me know.

You probably did not notice but Subbu and I developed a PCB for ES9023. You can see that one in the Group Buy section. I did not try the transformers on ES9023 as it does not have symmetrical outputs. I also use FN1242a and that one definitely does not like transformers so I will sell them.
