Default Elma 24 step rotary switches

Hi I bought these NOS switches a week ago but I stumbled upon a read made DACT. It are 2 x 04-1130 shorting mono 24 step switchers and 1 x 12 position 2 decks 04-2121 non-shorting source selector. My thought was to disassemble and combine them to make a stereo 24 stepped attenuator. I paid 55 Euro for them and I let them go for the same price ex shipping. The 12 position source selector can be changed to let's say a 6 position by removing the stop pin (so I was told, never changed them myself).

These are the swiss made Elma 04 series with gold plated silver contacts. I used those before and they are excellent. It will cost you 2 hours to solder the resistors and you will have a way better attenuator than for instance the Alps RK27 .
