This project never got off the ground and I have other things I am pursuing right now so this is up for sale. This amp works but would certainly need some effort(power supply, caps, cables, etc..) to turn into an enjoyable tube amp. There's a slight hum from one channel - probably an aged filter cap. Actually it could become a very good project amp. Its a stereo Sears Silvertone amp that probably came out of a console.
Tube complement - EL84(4) and 12AX7(2). All tubes are Silvertone brand. Rectification is solid state. and I believe the chassis is copper. Further details about this amp can be found here. Asking $100 or best offer. |
