Now everyone is awakening to the importance of i2s, twenty years after it was featured in the DTI and DDE products. Audio Alchemy was WAY ahead of its time.
I have several AA devices and have decided to sell some. I have refused to mod any of the units over the years so what I am offering is TOTALLY stock. That said, keep in mind that the external power supplies must be plugged into the devices before powerup!!! Please be as careful as I have been all these years because there are no protection diodes. I have two DDE 3.0 DACs for which full user manual and schematics are available. One has a small mar on the front panel so for now I will keep it. The one I am offering for sale is at least 9/10 cosmetically and guaranteed working perfectly. This offer is just for that DDE 3.0, docs on a USB mem stick, standard power supply, and original plastic PMD100 HDCD converter chip from Pacific Microsonics. Price $150 plus shipping (only US & Canada). The buyer will have the option to purchase any of the following at the prices indicated. First is the remote control which requires its own IC inside the case for US$120, a rare ceramic HDCD converter chip upgrade for $42, one original AA i2s cable for $20, and a DTI (no power supply) for $35. If it is your intention to mod this unit you will begin with a regulated power supply. You will likely feed it with i2s bits through a USB connection. You may swap out opamps (not socketed) but please do not drive headphones directly until you carefully read the docs and set the jumperable gain correctly.

I still have the original shipping box for the one with the remote control. It has always worked perfectly. I discovered I had another i2s cable and will include it with the remote at no extra charge. Is there anything else I can tell you about it?
