Default CarderSound Nina - SET Friendly Full Range Horn Speakers

CarderSound Nina – SET Friendly Full Range Horn Speakers SOLD

New - $2,895. asking $1,199.

The CarderSound Nina is a professionally designed and built single driver, back loaded horn speaker that is easy to drive with a low powered SET amp. It uses Fostex FE126EN drivers that have had the EnABL process applied. The result is a beautiful looking and sounding speaker. This pair has a furniture grade Cherry finish. My wife actually likes these speakers, mostly because they look like fine furniture and are not too large. I like them for the sound. The 4.5 inch drivers give amazing 3Dimaging, clear and detailed midrange, clean highs and tight bass. Of course, the bass does not go as low as larger speakers, but if you really need that huge thumping bass, a small subwoofer will work fine. These speakers do not have the “shout” problem of some single driver speakers. Their sound is detailed, rich and never fatiguing. These speakers are 93 dB and a very stable 8 ohms, and are easier to drive than the sensitivity might suggest. I have been using them with a 45 based SET amp in a medium sized room, which is a great combo. We are downsizing and will no longer have that extra room, so the speakers and amp will be passed on.

I have the original shipping box, which weighs in at 80 lbs, so shipping will need to be by UPS Ground. Also, the photos do not show the wood feet that come with the speakers, as I never used them. I have them and they come with the speakers.
