SOLD: Salas SSHV1 shunt reg FULL BUILD!

Up for sale is one of my Salas shunt regs... perfectly suited for line stages, headphone amplifiers
or anything else that consumes around 65mA max.
Can supply a range of 150 -275V approx., current set resistor is socketed to easily adjust current
to the desired value. Tested and ready for use!

The best regulator for ultra low noise, very high bandwidth and ultra low output resistance...

Needs rectified and filtered DC in of about 20V more than the desired Vout.

Only very good parts used throughout incl. premium Jantzen Superior-Z caps for the critical positions
(a 50$ value itself). Heatsink and custom made adapter included.

Asking 85$ excluding shipping.

Shipping worldwide, though expensive across the ocean :(

Hi Cabaco,

I don't know the Tube-i-zator pcb very well, but when it is a tube output stage you can sure use the Salas shunt. Do you have a schematic of the Tube-i-zator? Then I could check to be sure how to connect it.
I am using the Salas shunt in two of my headphone amplifiers (Aikido parafeed and SE with output transformers), and they sound fabulous!

Where did you buy the sockets you used for the current resistor?

What are they called?
