Hello, everybody.
Recently, I consider to buy a pre-amp. My friend suggest that DCB1 is a good pre-amp. So, I consider to build DCB1. But, I do not know where I can buy DCB1 kit (include PCB and electronic components). Who can show me? ![]() Thank you! |

I might be able to help you there.
I have a DCB1 Mesmorize PCB arriving shortly that I no longer need. I can also supply most of the semiconductors including the matched 2SK170BLs. I have the OMRON 12V relay that is required. That leaves only the easily and commonly available components to source. (ie IRFPs, resistors and capacitors) - You would also need a transformer, case and all the hardware. I'm prepared to let the reduced kit go for £25.00 plus Postage. You would get: 1 x PCB 2 x 2SK170BL (Matched) 2 x 2SK170BL (Matched) 10 in total 6 x 2SK170BL (Unmatched) 2 x BC550c 1 x BC560c 1 x BC517 1 x Relay 4 x BYW96 excellent replacement for MUR420 The only fun bit left is to buy approximately 50 LEDs and see if you can get four sets that meet the build criteria. 300 RED,GREEN,YELLOW,3MM LEDS | eBay If you would like a comlete kit to make up the board let me know and I'll give you a price. I will not be supplying transformer or case or hardware as these are items that are individual to each build, and easilly available around the world. Salas has just pointed out to me that the Mesmorise would normally be populated with 7 x relays. I will be providing THREE.
One for the Anti-Thump Timer Two for TWO input operation. These are currently freely available on E-Bay eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace |

It will include:- 1 x DCB1 Mesmorize BLUE PCB 1 x 50K ALPS Log B Potentiometer 1 x 6 Way Switch 7 x 12V OMRON G6H2 relays 7 x 1N4001 diodes 7 x 3 Way Input Headers and matching Sockets 1 x 6 Way Switch Header and matching socket 2 Pairs ( 4 in total) Matched 2SK170BL 2 x 220K RC55Y 0.1% Metal Film resistors 2 x 1M0 RC55Y 0.1% Metal Film Resistors 4 x 221R RC55Y 0.1% Metal Film Resistors 2 x IRFP240 2 x IRFP9240 16 x Suitable matched LEDs for voltage chains. 5 x 100uF 25V low ESR caps 2 x 4700uF 25V low ESR Snap in caps 17 x Non-Critical resistors for PSU and timer LM7812 for timer 100nF non-critical for timer BC550c's BC560c, 2SK170BLs and BC517 for PSU. 4 x BYW96 1 x AC Input connector All BRAND NEW £140.00 plus Postage. Theres nothing really heavy there so P&P should be reasonably low. I've made a hiccup in the price above - But as I've quoted it I will take the hit. This would just need a 50VA 15-0-15V transformer, a case and a little bit of hardware to complete. Apparently the bigger the better, I use a 60VA transformer with mine but 30VA is more than adequate until you start pushing the PSU into HOTROD territory.
Its not fussy about 15-0-15V either. If you have something bigger (say 25-0-25) it will still work but will just need a bit of heatsinking. The initial 4700uF caps also need to be rated to cope with any increased input voltage. Everyhthing else else should be fine. Speak to me nicely and I can help you out with some of the hardware that you might need. Last edited by KatieandDad; 28th February 2012 at 03:55 PM. |
