I have attached a file of the real Russian tubes.
Note the number 1578 on the tube. These are the real thing. The tubes that are worth the money. These are the hand picked Russian military tubes. If they don't say 1578 on them they are not 1578's. I would be willing to sell the 4 unused 1578's that I have. I had purchased these for a project that I will not be doing. I am in the process of selling some of my unused and extra parts in order to acquire money for a different project. All 4 of my tubes say 1578 on them so they are the real thing. I appreciate the moderators reading the swap meet ads and seeing that the people posting ads are being 100% correct in what they are promising. Like I tried to point out in my post the real 1578 tubes do say 1578 on them. They are a very special hand picked and tested cream of the crop tube. So many times on ebay you see the 6SL7=1578 trying to make you think that you are actually purchasing a 1578 tube. It is true the 1578 is manufactured by Melz and does have a nickle base and does have 1578 printed on the tubes side. Without the 1578 on the tube side its just and ordanary Melz tube and its nothing special.
If someone is interested I would be willing to sell (2) or all (4) of the 1578's that I have. These are unused and have been sitting on my shelf. The going price on ebay is around $165-179 a pair plus shipping. If your interested send me a PM with the price and we will talk. I will also take pictures of the tubes being tested on my tube tester. |
