(Yes, it really is a 605 "A". So I have full documentation files. )
For Sale Hickok 605A in fair shape. Looks like the #83 rectifier is out. You replace it or I will. ($20) The rest known good. Tube Chart in good readable shape and runs freely end to end. Looking to get $200 plus shipping. Actual shipping from 84102. No penalty for local pick up. I've owned and used this for a few decades. It functioned just fine until #83 went out. (It's dark when 5Y3 is lit) I was going to sub in diodes, but then read that circuit expects specific load / characteristics of #83 tube. So I haven't changed anything. I no longer do any tube work. PM Email address for pics if interested. I don't do paypal, but a money order is just fine. If interested we'll work it out. I have over ten years experience in instrument calibration and repair. This was my own unit. I believe it to be a good instrument, just no longer needed by me. Doc

I ner get too excited anymore.... here's pic links for others whom might want a gander.
Used but quite servicable. (Not one found brand new in a plastic bag on the back shelf of an original distributor.) http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...c/P1010002.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...c/P1010003.jpg http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...c/P1010004.jpg Socket Savers were in place when I acquired it decades ago. But I doubt I've tested over a dozen tubes since I've owned it. Doc
