Default DiyMod 5.5G 120GB black iPod - SOLD

SOLD

Hi chaps,
I'm selling my Black 5.5G ipod which I modded last year and installed a brand new 120GB HD at the same time.
The modification was a direct wire of the DAC outputs to the LOD pins using solid silver teflon wire.
This is the hardest but cleanest way of getting the audio stream directly from the Wolfsen DAC.
I have a LOD cable that comes with it and inside are the infamous BG NX Hi-Q caps that are so loved.... and do sound sooooo precise!
I modified it this way to allow you to choose which capacitors (if any) come between it and your amp. For reference the DAC output carries about 2VDC.

This iPod has never been out of the house and sat on top of my home rig for a year.
It works flawlessly and passes a full diagnostics test.
I would say I've put about 100 hrs of listening on it since April last year

I'll try and find the pictures of the internals later but it is very similar to this one (see photo folder) I did recently for a friend. That one included the caps inside because of the CF mod allowing the room. The one I'm selling is the same wire - done exactly the same way - but directly to the pins using a single run of wire for each channel (no internal caps).

The two external pictures are the actual iPod for sale which I've just uploaded to the same folder.

£200 including delivery within the UK
Shipment outside the UK to be covered by buyer

Why am I selling? Well I have two..... and this one is in the best condition for selling as it stays on top my home system.

You'll need some feedback of course so here is my eBay account for reference:

I used to repair/modify iPods for quite some time and never had an unhappy customer.

If you need any more info or whatever just drop me a PM.
