100K linear pot

I'm looking for a good quality dual-gang (i.e. stereo) linear 100k potentiometer, preferably available from the UK - if anyone has one for sale please post, or if anyone knows where I can get one in the UK please let me know.

otherwise the part number for the dual 100k is 219-9146.

I don't mean to sound ungreatful, but these are logarithmic progression pots not linear - you can't help but fall over these on pretty much any site that sells audio components!

Linear pots are harder to find (good quality ones at least), that's why I set up the thread.

I tried to help this person, even gave him the Farnell part no. Also offered to sell him a spare DACT pot for half price. This is the spirit of helping DIY Audio Members.

However, despite the fact that I am in England, he wants me to sell it through PayPal, wants a photo of the item, wants to know where I got it from. So I said forget it.

The issues for me are these.

1. I have no intention of divulging my banking info to PayPal, which charged me $1.56 when the $ rate was 1.65. I had to pay card charges of 2.75% just to make a US purchase. I will avoid them like the plague.

2. I tried to do him a favour. If he writes me a cheque in the UK and have my address, he is protected.

3. If he is so distrustful of DIY Audio memebers, why does he bother to ask for assitance in it?

Don't help this man unless he behaves more properly.

I tried to explain in my emails why I was cautious about buying the attenuator, but I feel I may have adversly insulted a fellow DIYer in the process.

If the item is still for sale I will send a cheque, as this is your prefered payment method.
