There's several folks on ebay that sell them for about $10 each if you can't find one here.

I'm hesitant to call the Alps pots I bought off of ebay fake. Iv'e got some 100K ones, and they look like the RK27's I used years ago. I also find it hard to believe that they would be selling fake items on such a low margin item. Looking at mouser:
Mouser Electronics - Electronic Component Distributor rk27 They sell for about what you'd expect to be sold on ebay for $10 each. IE in quantity, the seller will get a buck or two per unit. Since people are counterfeiting semiconductors, I guess anything is possible though. Sheldon |

well, frankly speaking I doubt that there will be some significant difference between ALPS RK27 from Mouser Electronics (they charge 40 quids for EU postage, smth ridiculous) and the one like alps from ebay (with different lug type).
I'm building very simple preamp on 2 LME49710HAs with Dale resistors, Silmics and just to be 100% sure that I could get max from the scheme, lack of genuine RK27 could be important stokessd all parts from China could be fake, incl. elkos, cheap voltage regulators, resistors and so on, convinced by Wolfson WM8740 DAC from China Last edited by dtses; 24th January 2012 at 09:36 AM. |
